John worked on the social navigation project in collaboration with Christoforos. He was reponsible for designing and implementing a social navigation framework which enables the comparison of in-house social navigation algorithms with the state-of-the-art on a robot running in real-time. He also implemented several algorithms to run on this framework, including the Social Momentum algorithm previously implemented in simulation. He graduated with a BS in Computer Science in May 2018 and moved on to a MS in Robotic Systems Development at the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute.
